Reality Bites

Dunraven Pass broke his leg Saturday morning. He will be fine--eventually--but for now, once again, my only horse has a broken leg. I'm thinking we need to look for another horse. Not all the news is bad, though. For the full scoop, go to http://www.equinebusiness.biz

Dunraven Pass--A Rose Colored Horse

What a horse! I've posted pictures of Dunraven Pass' race on May 4 on our website, www.equinebusiness.biz. You would think we won the race! There is also a video of me on HRTV from a couple of weeks ago under the Rose Colored Horses tab. The picture attached to the video could scare small children--but it gets better if you click on it!

The down time between races is a killer--particularly when you think you have a horse. Hopefully we will be running in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I suggest you read a good book! If it is mine, I'll sign it.

Until Later--keep the faith!

Second is a Charm!

Holy Cow--Second! For a horse that broke his leg ten months ago, that's not too shabby! And another furlong, we're sure the race would have been ours! What a deal! Read more on www.equinebusiness.biz!

Scratched!

Scratched--by the state vet as Dunraven Pass ambled into the gate. Aarrgghh! The horse is fine. He ambles slowly--because why waste energy when you don't have to? But try to get the vet to understand that! Read about it at www.equinebusiness.biz.

It's a Miracle! Dunraven Pass is Running!

Can a horse that has broken his leg run fast? We'll know more tomorrow. And the book, "Rose Colored Horses--A Year in the Live of a Crazed Horsewoman" is out and available. Read all about both at http://www.equinebusiness.biz/. So much excitement, so little time!!

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

We still have a horse. The book is still done. With luck, there will be a sighting of both in April!! I've attached a picture of Dunraven Pass and the front of the book cover on www.equinebusiness.biz. Pinch me--just maybe things are coming together. Have I said lately that hope springs eternal?!!

Hope Springs Eternal!

The horse with a broken leg had his first published breeze yesterday. And the book is coming out in late March or early April. How much more good news can we handle? To celebrate, I've put a new picture out on the web. To see it or read all about it, go to www.equinebusiness.biz.
