Cape Town Bay is running--and with luck, we just may hit the board. It is 2010, after all. If he wins Friday night at Penn National, I'll say nice things about him on June 21st--the last diary entry for my book. If he doesn't, I just may call my friends in high places and volunteer him for the Afghanstan Calvary. After a horse is gelded, that's about the only good threat left.
This is a rather sorry group of horses, so if the stars are aligned, The Bay actually decides to run--and all the "ifs" that I talk about on the website come true, we have as good a chance to win as anybody. On the other hand, since there are 8 horses in the race, there are 7 reasons he might not. We'll know for sure by 10:00 p.m. Friday night.
