Stay Alert--True to his Name!!

Holy, moley cow--Stay Alert won last night! I didn't send out any alerts, I didn't update my blog, I didn't bet for anyone--and that big, beautiful gray horse pulled it off anyhow. Maybe even the lucky ear bobs didn't matter. What a relief! He led all the way, beating all the older horses. As a result, he joined the ranks of the only other horses we've owned that have won three or more races: Shiloh Bound and Trick Lantern. You go, Big Boy!! Another factoid, Stay Alert is the first horse we've owned to win three races in one year. What a dude--a gelded dude, but a dude, nonetheless.
